2015 SDCC exclusive R2-D2 Droids jumbo figure

Hi guys, having collected the Gentle Giant Kenner Jumbo line since it started I grew fed up with the customs tax when shipping from the US. So, for my last missing figure, the 2015 SDCC exclusive R2-D2 Droids jumbo figure, I'm trying my luck on this side of the Atlantic. PM if anyone of you fine fellow SW-collectors might have this figure for sale. I might swat it for something else, though I don't have that many double items...

Good luck there's a lot if pissed of collectors as these sold out in minutes. No doubt there'll be plenty on fleabay at x10 the original value. ;(

I know, several are available States-side around the $ 200 mark... add the customs to that and you'll end up close to € 300... way overrated and very annoying, considering I already have the Jumbo 3PO Droids version :-/

At celebration, the c3po, Lego exclusive, funko (whatever the **** they are) and pins were mental. Unless you were willing to queue for hours to get in and run to the stall you had no chance. I imagine the r2 is the same.

Pure greed surrounds these items. What does it matter if Lego produce 1000 sets or 50000 sets. So what it's not super exclusive. The hobby is about collecting what you enjoy, not stuff that is only available I n small numbers. If they made more, more would get to the people who want them.

I hope you get your r2. Maybe when the hype dies down you will be able to get one at a sensible price. The c3po looked great. I imagine the r2 even better.
