It's been my first year of collecting Star Wars again and I have knocked off a few of my grains, I only try to collect the first 21 figures, graded first 12 are down mint 2nd 9 are also complete I would like to finish off the last 8 of my cheap 12 back run but I have decided 2013 is the year I buy either a Waterloo medal to a regiment of the line a Naval general service medal with a Trafalgar clasp or at an absolute outside chance (as I have only seen two come up for sale I would be happy with) a correctly impressed confirmed wounded light brigade chargers Crimean medal although the chances of finding one are pretty much nil! I have been saving up and im nearly there if my bonus comes in next week as it should do i can heave myself over the line that's my main goal as a dual collector in 2013.

This year has seen my MOC collection grow, I surprised myself with a balls out purchase of a graded Harbert R2, got a few mint deals including a quality Palitoy Imperial Shuttle and began a slow burning Luke MOC focus. I introduced the world to my wifes quality cake making skills and me and my lad had fun getting dressed up
However by far the most significant parts of my collecting year has been having the privilege of meeting loads of you at FF1 & 2. I can now put loads of faces to names/logons, and i think i can safely say that i've made a lot of good friends.
The discovery of a surprise Meccano Jawa in the post was probably the most lost for words moment yet!
2013 will see me pretty much absent from the boards for the first half of the year but i'll be back in July with a vengeance. "Star Wars, The Return of the Jez"

2012 saw the purchase of the first Palitoy figures I have bought since Summer 2010 and two of the trilogo miscards I'd wanted the most.
My aim 2013...
Pick up at least one more Palitoy MOC. Can't be waiting 2 years again!
Try and get a bit close to my target of 30 miscards. On 25 at the moment.

2012 has turned out to be a great year for me, I managed to secure 7 near mint/mint 30 backs which is pretty awesome 
so I finish the year with a tally of 12 30 backs in my collection.
Goals for 2013;
Secure any of the 8 30 backs I am missing for the set I am after completing!
Secure a 45a Cloud Car Pilot to complete my 45a debut set.

Well 2012 was a shitty year . Left TIG , my home for two years , as some of the guys there where speaking so ugly på new and old members . Found this great place whre people are so nice and helpsome
Lost my dad in the spring . Cleaning out his FULL OF STUFF apartment and trying to sell some of his stuff made me lok at my own life and belongings .
Alot of the stuff he did collect , where VERY hard to sell and i did not get a fraticon of what he did pay for it in again . I decided that i make it more easy for my family, if they ever where to sell my stuff one day .
So i decided to sell almost all my moc's and focus more on the proofs .
As they are more easy to price and don't take up much space .
I'm still trying to clean up my collction , as i also have small focus on Danish price tacks on stuff and paper stuff .
So the goal for 2013 will be the same . Focus on the proofs and Danish stuff . Sell the rest of the things that i don't want any more .
I also will be doing more reseach , as i really enjoy this part of the hobby .

On the Star Wars side of things, misery really... Had to sell up all my MOC ROTJ Collection (55 minty carded figures) my POTF and ROTJ AFA 85 graded figures and a lot of my high priced items... Gotta pay the mortgage and I hadn't worked for 4 months!
Started a Luke Farmboy Focus (should've chosen an easier character)... which is coming along slowly but surely... I've had a lot of top end items which I have had to sell on, but nice to own them for a while. Bought and sold a couple of collections and upgraded my loose collection.
2013:
Finish my MINTY loose collection and increase my Luke FB focus (hopefully with an EB Set).... Maybe, just maybe start back on my ROTJ MOC run, I'm just not sure I can do it, broke my heart to sell those bad boys!!

2012 has been a mixed bag in collecting terms but I've decided to totally focus new purchases to vintage, I've got a ton of carded 30th anniversary & POTJ modern collection figures to get rid of (to help fund vintage) and a pretty big Nightmare Before Christmas figure collection to shift.
Once that's done I'll be looking to pick up some more POTF coins and the big one this year will hopefully be a VC Jawa and wind up R2 D2 to complete my loose figure collection. Will aim to pick up some big boxed ships too like the Tie Interceptor and B Wing.
Then the final challenge to to sort out how best to display in my toy room....will be looking to the vintage showcase section of the forum for inspiration!!

One of the coolest things i have ever seen. The G.Guard has always been one of my favourite figures and i'm glad to see it made into a Gentle Giant figure. 8) Can't wait.
If they do Bib Fortuna or Squid Head they will get bought too.

2012 was the year that I began collecting vintage star wars again after totally selling up 3 years or so ago...
It re-started with a handfull of klaatu's purchased from a vintage shop in Tunbridge wells (cosmic cart wheels)
Since that fateful day I have completed the 77's loose and have 6 last 17 left to buy,have got 38 rotj 77bk moc's,9 potf moc's and a handfull of baggies/coins/animated figures to my name..
My aim for 2013 is to complete my 77bk moc collection,complete my animated figures (droid/ewoks) and to begin to dip into the 12 backs...
Will post some pictures up of my progress once 2013 is here...
looking forward to buying lots more bits from you wonderful chaps in 2013

My goal for 2013 is to finally get a 21 back Luke Tatooine in even fair condition. Also a Carded esb brown haired Luke Tatooine. Although this seems impossible !

Gary the twighlight zone is now cosmic cart wheels,it is a decent shop overall but not enough vintage for my liking....
