Yeah, it's really not very transparent at all but get your best digital forensic skills and you'll see ebay spending their money on you. It was a double bonus for me; bought one item and got £50 off whilst selling a nice and expensive item with their 50% off final value fees deal. Those two deals have cost eBay £95 over their normal fees/costs. Feels kinda good :twisted:

Yeah me too.

At the start of the web chat the person was very dismissive saying there were no reported problems and that I'd just have to look out and wait for the next promotion and the "thank you for your patience and custom bullshit". I was having none of that and told them exactly what I thought about eBay and it's practices :evil:

I managed to use it eventually. First time I tried to complete the checkout it came back with an error message, so tried again a few times and in the end it went through and I bought the item, however now when I check my PayPal account I now have 3 pending trancastions all for the same about, to the same person and for the same item. I phoned PayPal and they said it would auto close however they are all still sitting on there. Has anybody else experienced this?
