Hi guys, noob to the forum. Wanted some advice on an eBay listing where I think the seller is asking a bit much, can I do that here as I don't want to break protocol?

We're not to bothered about listing auctions but obviously if you are keen to bid then it is not always a great idea.

If you give us a clue as to what the figure is and the price being asked then I am sure people can help

Given stated condition I think his pricing is OTT, I know these are HTF but even so...

Yes I saw that one - think it is over priced. It was just for sale on the last free listing day for the same amount and didn't sell. It might be worth contacting the seller and seeing if you can sort out a deal off ebay as fees alone will cost them over $170 if they sell it through ebay

I don't mind paying for something that would grade at least an 80 but I think even £1,000 is far too high for this (I might be wrong). I missed out on a couple a few years back because I didn't have the balls to raise my bids & they were around the £500 mark, kicking myself now...

Only need him to complete my Droids lot so maybe I can't be so choosy going forward!

I know that Ed bought one of these last year so am sure he could give you a steer on price - they are pretty rare and there are a load of fakes going around (thanks to Mr Poon)

Ok, if you can point me in the direction of Ed his expertise would be a great help!! Yeah, maybe $1500 seems fairer. I don't think it will go at the current price so I can maybe get a dialogue going with the seller & see what occurs.

Difficult to say but from what you see/read would this rate an 80, I won't hold you to it!
