This print was originally available through the Supersnipe Comic Art Gallery in 1978. Supersnipe was a New York gallery co-owned by George Lucas. In 1978 the gallery had an exhibition of original Star Wars artwork and this print along with several others were offered for sale. They were produced in limited numbers, though I've not been able to get to the bottom of just how limited! Some were sold at the time and the remaining went into storage. Some have cropped up from time to time since, with single pictures being advertised for £300 or more. The Propstore currently have one at this price

These were some of the first prints made from the concept art from Star Wars and are fantastic quality, on heavy duty card. They were produced under the supervision of the artist, Joe Johnston.

There is a fair bit of information about Supersnipe and these prints online but they very rarely come up for sale. These really are incredible and in amazing condition. They're also a great size at 24" x 18" (61cm x 46cm).

I'm looking for £165 for this inc delivery by Royal Mail next day. They will be carefully and securely packaged. Any questions please let me know.

Right, let's see if this works!
