Hi, I'm new here and I hope this is in the correct place, I have had a look, if its not can you please advise rather than shout at me!

Right, I have approx 3000 (1800 counted so far, with some pics below) loose Star Wars figures ranging from vintage through to the last waves of clone wars an the new vintage collection.
They are 99.99% complete with guns etc.

How much do you guys think they should be worth?

And, if anyone wants to make any offers.......

Himatey and welcome.

You really needed to post in the Valuation Requests which is here:

http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=3

Don't worry Iam sure it willbe moved for you.

Best thing to do is get some pics up of the various items you have and a run down on condition etc...

Basically the more information the better!

Hope this helps.

Bram

Thanks, I will be getting them down from the loft tomorrow so will try to get some pics then. Condition will be loose, played with but good condition. Most of them haven't been played with, my son just choose the few he liked...

I'm only selling to generate some money to buy MR stuff... Really got into that last few weeks... But very expensive!

Yep get some picks up

What MR are you collecting? Sabres...helmets?

Looking forward to seeing some pics of the figures bud

I am collecting the sabers and blasters for now.. Got quite a few already, collecting only about 6 weeks.

So far I have:
Luke esb blaster
Fett SE blaster
Rebel blaster
Luke esb SE saber
Luke anh saber
Luke rotj weathered saber
Luke rotj Sfx reveal saber
Dooku aotc saber
Mara Jade SE saber
Yoda rots saber
Anakin aotc saber
Obi Wan rots saber
Qui Gonn tpm saber
Anakin AP rots saber

I also have a sandtrooper 1:1 helmet, and a few mini helmets and most of the .45 sabers, well one each of the main sabers, not the many variations. (Except Qui Gon mini)

So any help adding to these... ESP want the Sidious 1:1 MR saber.

Sounds cool, post up any MR wants in the modern thread,

and there is a thread for introductions where it's better to introduce yourself

Then bang some pics of your figures in the thread link that Bram gave you earlier to see if you can get some advice/ interest

BTW...welcome :D

Thanks, will do.
In the mean time any advice... Offers let me know.

I'm not looking forward to counting them!

To be honest - with the vintage figures a lot will depend on condition and as to whether they are complete

Loose modern tend to be worth next to nothing (£1-£2 is about standard)

I'm not even worried about the vintage figures, as they are not hard to get ones..

I don't agree that the modern stuff goes for £1/2 though, if sold on eBay individually or small batches etc, but yes that might be the case if your selling 3000.

Depends of course, but jacen, jaina, for example are worth a lot more. You try and get them for 1 or 2 pound. But by the same token someone like yarna will be hard to give away!

Hi, this is a pic of just my droids, I have not put all variant droids here...
I love these so are on display rather than the loft...

Looks nice seeing all those droids together.
Value is going to be hard here.
On average I think most lose modern figures are only worth a pound or two but there are exceptions. Even among those droids I can see a few that must be worth more.
I think I can see an R2-B1 EP1 droid there, carded I have seen that go for £30 top end so lose I would guess £5-£10 maybe.
I think I see the the R2 unit that came with the Naboo Royal Ship and Mace Windu's droid and the Entertainment Earth exclusives and the Pink KT droid, all must be worth more that the average, probably in the same £5+ bracket as the R2-1B
That said with modern these sorts of examples are the exception but there do seem to be a few in every line.
I think here it is worth identifying these exceptions and listing them separately from the masses and separating out the modern and vintage as well. The more photos the better but a list might also help with these volumes. Even if your average is £1:50-£2 a figure with 3000 figures there is enough value there to spend some time specing the lists out and making sure you are going down the optimal route.
Good luck :)

Thanks for your reply, I need some good pics, even the droid pics are poor... But I will try to do that today.

The droids include all those you stated, and all the build a droids released.
