149 Mavel comics for £20

I won this lot at the weekend for a £20.

Had a starting price of £20 or BIN for £100. Collection only so I was going to pay cash.

Seller ignored my messages until I fired the money across on paypal.

Just got this message:

"Hello,

I received an email to say you have transferred the money for the Star War comics I advertised on ebay. It pains me to say this, but I fear they may have been taken to the dump by mistake. I spent most of yesterday afternoon searching for them to no avail. I should explain that they were advertised on my step father's ebay account. I'm moving house this month, and I've been getting rid of a lot of my old possessions. I'm living in a house surrounded by boxes and things are not as organized as they should be.

I will have another search tomorrow morning and if I still can't find them will refund your payment. I'm sorry if this causes you any inconvenience. "

Firstly BULLSHIT, Secondly you're getting a Neg. Not that I'll expect he'll give a ****.

Its a real kick in the guts isn't it when you think you have a bargain and the twat simply does this and gets away with it.

keep an eye on his account, if he relists get a few of us to piss about with bids to annoy him.

Sends the guy a message before the item finishes to ask whether he will post as the item is collection only. He says yes.

I win the auction. 3 kilo of coins for £1.31. One coin in the photo I can see is worth triple that alone.

Low of behold he starts acting up saying he doesnt know how to send an invoice. As he appears new to ebay (has 0 feedback) I politely show him how. He even comments how I got a "stonking bargain" which set alarms off.

Over a week later still no invoice! So I send a message today. "Do you want to complete this transaction or not"

the reply - - I carnt get invoice back from ebay so not going to sell unfortunately sorry! :roll:

My reply "unfortunately for you" I have no option to but to leave a neg

Anyway enough of my ramblings and I apologies for hijacking your thread mate
