So, considering, but not yet fully decided on maybe changing focus from 12 backs to a broader variety.

Was wondering if anyone could give me a valuation on some of my 12 backs
The cards are in really nice shape.

Darth Vader - Dent to the top of the bubble
Leia - Crack in the top of the bubble
Stormtrooper - Dent to the top of the bubble
R2-D2 - Crack in the top of the bubble
Tusken - Reseal, of no value anyways
Jawa - Severe bending to the card

Ben - Never ever for sale anyways and mint

Some pics

Stormie

Leia crack

Vaders dent is comparable to the Stormtroopers, and the R2s is less severe than the Leia.

Heres a group shot minus the jawa

Not being funny (well trying really hard anyway  ), I wouldn't mind knowing what value the stormtrooper is as I have one in the same shape. It would be great to hear from someone with some knowledge on this as opposed to seeing just PM's sent (it is a valuation thread after all guys).

Sorry for the slight rant but this seems to be becoming more of a pre-sale section than somewhere we can all get some idea of value.

I'll have a go - although 12 backs have been going for good money recently but damaged cards always put people off

Darth Vader - Dent to the top of the bubble - £200
Leia - Crack in the top of the bubble - £80-£100
Stormtrooper - Dent to the top of the bubble - £150
R2-D2 - Crack in the top of the bubble - £60
Tusken - Reseal, of no value anyways - £25
Jawa - Severe bending to the card - £80-£100

Ben - if in great shape probably around the £350-£400 mark maybe a bot more

Thanks for your reply Iain, was just looking for an input on what kind of value to expect. I would have imagined the Leia and R2 to be a little bit higher, and actually the Jawa to be somewhat lower but I appreciate all inputs :)
They all look nice on display so I guess Ill hold on to them, or list them up for trades. I cannot seem to find anything for sale that "I must buy" these days as theres not much up for sale atm.

Oh, the Ben is absolutely beautiful, cant find much wrong with it, but its not for sale anyways as I love it :)

Good to see some suggestions :D I can bet that they'd probably go for a bit more on the bay, what with the way things have been going but there does seem to be a massive jump in value dependant on condition (and grading which I still don't fully understand).

The Stormtrooper I have in similar condition was the first 12 back I ever bought off of ebay. It arrived in that condition from the states and cost me 250GBP. It was however sold as mint with no bubble damage and the trooper inside has scratches on his chest?! I bought it up with the seller and said that I thought it might even be a reseal but he claimed it wasn't and got pretty mad with me. As I was new to the game back when I bought it I let it go but it was the first taste of the dirty side of the ebay business! I ended up buying a Takara 12 back one that was sealed in an AFA case with no grading. It had a price sticker on the front of the card and the seller stated that it hadn't been graded because of a problem with the sticker but everything was fine with it. I took a chance as it was such a nice clean card but once I bought it and busted it free, sure enough the sticker had been placed over some damage to the card! That was strike 2 for me and I finally picked up another which just had a slight dent to the side of the bubble but was in good shape.

Thought I'd share that with you all (not really sure why but it's what happens to most of us from time to time). I'm pretty sure I'll never see the money I paid out for the first one back again but I still have it as a reminder of how my carded collection started.
