12 inch Jawa help

Hi All, i've recently purchased a 79 12 inch line Jawa figure, seller assured me it has been in his collection since childhood. However, the blaster is grey in colour. Is this a later version? As all research suggests that it should be black in colour, Could somebody please point me in the direction?

The third pic shows what I believe is the real blaster on the bottom of the picture as you can see there is significant colour difference between them.

Is it not just the way the light makes it look greyer?
Design-wise the top one looks more like an original judging by this post on imperial gunnery

The bottom one looks all kinds of wrong to me, just comparing that photo with the one in TIG.

Thats just my view based on comparison of the photos on your post and the one i linked.

I know nothing about 12" figures.

This is the item I purchased, as you can see the blaster looks greyer. I have since found, sold jawas with grey blasters, I just assumed they were all black. Thanks very much for your opinion.

Jawa blaster should be grey, definitely not black - hope that helps
