12 back Stormie afa85 £2000 already !!

I'm sure everyone knows the afa85 12 backs listed up on ebay but the Stormie has hit £2 grand already and there's 5 days to go !! I think we are moving into a whole new price bracket for 12 backs ,I've got my eye on the luke and han but now I've seen the Stormie price I'm thinking I'll just sit this one out !
 
Fools and money.
It seems to be the huge desire for afa as carded c8-9s are still going for a quarter of that.
A lot of people seem to think the new movies are going to skyrocket prices but I can't see that happening imo.
 
Plan old stupid! What people will pay for their idea of a perfect 12-BK... You could have such a nice collection for that kind of money, but instead you end up with one AFA MOC on a lonely shelf. All for bragging right - well it doesn't impress me...
 
I couldn't believe the price on the stormy , I have an AFA 85 12 back stormtrooper . I bought it a couple of months ago and it wasn't 2k . I changed my focus onto graded 12 backs , maybe just in time

Well I hope the bidding is not being helped up ( I'm not digging anyone out) but I just hope it's all faire on the bidding front ,I realy want the 12 back luke but as the 21 back luke cracked £1000 and is back for sale on ebay (same pictures different seller ) I'm worried a 85 grade 12 back luke might reach £2000 plus maybe £3G ! I purchased a afa 70 luke 12 back u/p and the only reason it was a 70 grade was because the figure was discoloured but it displays as if it was a 85 grade and I paide only £700 for him ,so if the 80-85 grades are selling for stupid money then I'm quite happy buying 70grade 12 backs at quarter of the price and still display beautifully without breaking the bank ,you could easily collect the whole 12 backs on a afa70 grade for £5G I REKON ,so what if there 70 they will still look mustard sitting on the shelf :D

Yeah that's really weird. The others all look pretty ok so far.

Quite a collection the guy had, particularly if you like AFA stuff.

2.8K for the Chewie, over 2.6K for the Han and over 2.4K for the Stormie

Shell shocked and so must b the seller :!:
