12 back prices

Hi all new on here (posted a hello on new visitors) been away from collecting for about 2 years, currently have 6 12 backs afa graded 3 80s and 3 85 have these gone up in price a lot? Been looking on eBay which is where I bought most of them from and they seem to be a lot more than I recall??

Hi Ian welcome to SWFUK. Have a look in the FS section to see if anything matches what you're looking for. Ebay is very unrealistic.

Ebay is very unrealistic.

That's certainly true for BIN prices (especially of items that have been sitting for sale for weeks/months) however I think eBay auction prices often give a much more accurate market value than forum prices. Forum prices are just a figure that the seller has plucked out of thin air. I think you very rarely get bargains on forums because everybody wants to break even/make money on their sales. At open auction on eBay, with mulitple bidders, it is truly a case of the item selling for what it is worth at the time. Bearing in mind none of this stuff has any kind of RRP.

By the way, check this site, it hasn't been updated in months, but he kept track of eBay sales for SW moc's for awhile.
This is a good reference aswell. Hope this site will get updated again....
