Your first time in a Galaxy Far Far Away

1978 in Hertford cinema. I was aged 6 :) However, I also remember seeing it again at the Odeon in Tottenham Court Road the following year as a birthday present from my godparents. I remember thinking how enormous R2's head looked on the Odeon's big screen in the close-up shot of him on Tatooine.

    Disney and Star Wars profitability

Disney (and probably many other film studios) routinely lie about their film budgets, presumably to make their films look more profitable / less unprofitable (delete as appropriate) than they actually are (and if I was a shareholder in such a company, I wouldn't be very pleased about that at...

My bluray and dvd movie collection, feel free to add your own

B5 is my favourite series of all time. Simply brilliant! The rumours of the reboot keep coming and going, but personally I'm kind of hoping it doesn't happen. Although it will doubtless look far better (the original series' only real weakness), I struggle to believe it will better it. Plus...

When and why did you stop collecting SW

To my shame, it was 1983. I sold all my Star Wars toys and bought a (rubbish) BMX with the money because I thought I was getting too old for toys. However, the addiction was hard to shift and I couldn't resist buying a Chief Chirpa even after selling everything else. I never stopped buying...

    The Bad Batch season 3

I think you're exactly right! LOL! It's got to be cheaper if they don't have to animate as much! :ROFLMAO:

    The Bad Batch season 3

I agree. I'm enjoying the series (I actually think it's the best thing in Disney Star Wars by quite some distance since the disappointment of Mando series 3 and the second half of Ahsoka), but like you, it would be nice to see a few adventures set during the day :)

Do you use a program for your star wars collection ?

I don't use a program either, but I do have photos of everything I own.

    stickers peel off

I don't check mine regularly, but if I have any reason to take any of mine out of their boxes, I would check them then.

    Display units for figures

Those look great! You mention possibly putting them behind glass or Perspex to keep out the dust, and I think that's a very good idea. I hate dusting my collection, which is why I always put mine behind Perspex. If you or anyone else is interested in trying their hand at building their own...

    stickers peel off

Hi Lars, It's not very nice when it happens, but it's also not uncommon, I'm afraid, especially considering how old these toys and stickers are these days. When any of my stickers have fallen off in the past, I've used a small amount of Pritt Stick (a glue stick) and they reattach quite nicely...
