I suppose it depends on whether you consider yourself a hobbyist for nostalgia reasons only or whether you just love the hobby for what it is and collect what you like. I think most people have items in their collection that they didn't originally have as kids so its no crime adding some ewoks...

I bet 99% of collectors wouldn't care which spear is which, Lumat and Waroks bow yes as an obvious difference is apparent but Wicket and Romba spear are much of a muchness.
