    genuine star wars carded figures?

I think they are real. The cards are roughed up, where recarded figures are in better shape. The bubble on the R2D2 is smashed around the sides. The jawa's card has a few creases, dings and the bubble looks to be caved in on one side. I think someone scored a good deal...

whats the big deal with the vinyl caped jawa

I agree the word "rare" is used to much in our hobby. With very few exceptions, MOC Uzay Headman, a number of "Production" figures are not that rare. Hard to find; yes, but not rare. I do not own a MOC VC jawa. One reason, price!! Why would I pay upwards of 3K for a nice carded, when that same...

Stuart, Congrats on nabbing a Trilogo Jawa. They are not easy to find and will make a very nice start to a jawa focus.

    Weasel's mini LL focus

Very nice, I especially like the Rebel Commander. From what I understand, that is a very tough one to find on card.

    Cardback and 12" List: Jawas

I might own about 30% of the list. Through the help of another collector, this is probably the most comprehensive list of jawas. Heck, not all of the versions on the list are MOC. I am not a die hard cardback collector, so I will never own everything. There might be something missing from the...

    Not a jawa focus

Stuart, The ledy in question failed grading by AFA. This is due to the thread being black, instead of the normal reddish color. The figure had been taken from the card by customs, then the owner submitted it for grading.

    Not a jawa focus

I have not seen a MOC Ledy Jawa on the open market for nearly two years. The last sale I am aware of is a AFA 70 MOC that went for $1,300, which is pretty cheap. I would estimate a Non-AFA one going for around 1k+. Personally, I have seen more Trilogo's than carded Ledy's

Boba Fett Collection (well the start of it)

Nice start to a Fett Focus. As many have stated, it can be pretty $$$ if you are looking for some of the harder carded versions. Good luck to you..

    Not a jawa focus

Ron, Very nice setup of jawas. I really like the Land of the Jawas and Sandcrawler. The Meccano, POTF and ESB carded versions are not hard to track down. I know of one Trilogo for sale at the moment, if you are interested. It has been graded by AFA (50). Let me know and I can contact the seller.

    Chewbacca 12" 1996 C series

Two versions of the 12" Chewbacca were released for the Collector Series. One with a dark blue insert and Vader, Chewbacca, Ben and Luke on the back of the box. They were released in the initial shipment and pulled from cases soon after. Personally, I have heard numbers ranging from 100 - 500...

how many off these are there

Wow, that set is really nice. I remember it initially came up for sale during C2, during Cloud City's mega showcase. Not sure it is worth 11k, but it is really nice..

    Lili Ledy "unused" cardbacks???

Hello Marc, Hmm, I would be very tempted if a jawa were to appear. :D Of course, I would ask about twenty or more questions, then ask a few other knowledgeable ledy collectors.

    Lili Ledy "unused" cardbacks???

Found this when looking over Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/STAR-WARS-LILI-LEDY-DARTH-VADER-CARDBACK-PROTOTYPE_W0QQitemZ140284449834QQihZ004QQcategoryZ50276QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I looked over the pictures and it "appears" a bubble has never been glued on the cardback. Has anyone...

    Any Jawa experts out there???

Interesting perspective.. Personally, I would call them a variation. Since jawas were produced in different factories, I would understand the machinists using whatever thread was available at the time. Thinking about this thread a little more, I really wonder which cardback's would have the...
