Is Star Wars only for the rich ?

Isn’t it tax heavy to buy from the states? On eBay and such? I mean from us in Scandinavia and UK? I always avoid us in my searches for that reason

When did collecting become so aggressive?

Definately a minefield to maneuver. Especially to us newbies. I often get no response when I ask for a better picture of guns and accessories. I take it they know it is repro but want $$ All I've traded with on eBay have been very nice.

    The vagaries of graded figs

Display preferences are individual. I find some ugrade 80 prettier than some 85. It is a subjective unscientific grading process that makes its own existence paradoxal. But it guarantees less risk when selling again. Authentication makes much more sense in binary question of yes and no. Like...

    Fake blue Snag

His detail wording is borderline but my guess is that they will allow the sale as he indirectly encourages the buyer to research. I know the words research and me don't add up. Especially with me...

    Value of complete vintage collection

Phew. I don't know if my mental compass is going way out of tune and starting to sound like a madman. To help the Original poster as good as possible here is my examples of C7-C8.5 (older Ebay listings so we don't meddle with current trades) of Han Hoth. C7...

    Value of complete vintage collection

With C9 minty I meant close to C10 (Nothing to spot on any of the ebay photos even with zooming in to study) I might be very very picky atm and mistake C9 for C8.5. Since if I see the smallest dot on a face or boots or even his hands (as the blue paint shines through easily on Han Hoth) as a...

    Value of complete vintage collection

Condition is everything. I wouldn't touch a C7 Han Hoth, but I would easily pay 30£ for a Han Hoth C9 minty. Original gear is a necessity From my experience from very excessive and very unhealthy fanatic Star Wars collecting frenzy the past 29 days, I would humbly agree that the list is pretty...
