    Revenge of the Jedi

I remeber seeing an episode of Storage Wars where they found amongst other items a custom-made jacket that had been made for the producers of "Episode VI" before Lucas changed the name. The back of the jacket was emblazoned with "Star Wars: Revenge of the Jedi" They brought it to some...

The Figure comes from a smoke free and Pet Free Home

Yeah I hear you for a car and also as the previous poster mentioned clothes, this makes sense. But again in the context of selling a loose star wars figure which is where I first came accross this phrase I just found it slightly odd.

Hi Mumbo, yeah fair point with respect to clothes , that makes sense. I was just thinking in terms of persons selling loose star wars figures as that is where I first came accross this phrase.

To display or not to display...That is the question

I think you should definitely set your collection up as it should be enjoyed. All the advise above is really good for keeping them in good condition and your best bet is probably Ikea for a display case if you don't want to go too crazy cost wise. One thing you could do is use a kitchen cabinet...

To display or not to display...That is the question

But what has caused figures from my childhood collection to discolour, the yellowing effect on the white paint based characters? Is this caused more from moisture from the hands and the environment its been played in? Cheers

To display or not to display...That is the question

Ok im leaning more towards putting some items on display. I dont have the room to display the playsets or ships so was just considering displaying the loose figures. Was mainly worried about the discolouration factor for the figures that had white based paint. But I will put some UV blocking...

To display or not to display...That is the question

Hi All, I restarted my love affair with collecting vintage Star Wars items in the last 6 months. Thing is most of the items I have purchased have gone straight into boxes with a view to preserving their condition. So I appreciate some collectors will say why buy them if you dont display them...

    Signs of a reseal query?

Thanks for the feedback and link. So while there are some checks that can be done to minimise the risk it would apppear there is not a 100% guarantee unless you buy an AFA or UKG graded MOC it would seem.

    Signs of a reseal query?

Hi Iain, thanks for the reply. In terms of the waffle pattern, can you explain this a bit more, thanks. Yes I forgot and as you mentioned the re-card is another dimension to be aware of. Again can you just explain this a bit more with respect holding a re-card versus an original factory selaed...
