Picked up mine for £27 off ebay late last year but its had to have a new decal and the sabre isn't original. You get what you pay for I suppose. I was happy buying mine knowing it wasn't original as I wasn't prepared to pay the £100 for a real one :o

Yes poncho its the one with 3mm missing, thought I might be able to pick up a bargain. So is the colour deteriation not something to be relied on? What other tell tale signs are there?

Ok, thanks, I thought the break points were a good indication that it was real? The colour is almost two tone, yellow where the outer sabre has been in the arm and pale where its been exposed, I would of thought this was a good indicator of age, all wrong though?

Any reason behind that? Lol

Here's a potential purchase, I can't post better quality pictures as the deal hasn't been done and the item is on foreign shores. Were dt lukes made in hong kong etc what markings should the luke have? At first glance what do you think ... Thanks in advance.
