    Handling with gloves?

About 6 years ago I remember spotting a reflection of Grant (the Scottish one not the Welsh Ewok loving podcast one) wearing gloves in his limelight pics. Even though all his figures were AFA graded he didn't like getting fingerprints on the cases.. I quite rightly used that as ammo whenever I...

Yet another "Red Bar R5" listed at $199 + postage..reply to the post: "Can I be cheeky and ask if you will take $199 shipped to the UK, if so I'll take it now!" I can think of about a million better ways to spend $200 in this hobby

    Provenance

Interesting thing to always remember, the majority of the successful scams in this hobby have been orchestrated by people held in high regard by the community who up until then had great reputations..

I know I'm not the best qualified to say this having collected 8D8 items for the last 10 years...but ****ing hell, people are absolutely ****ing mental! £100+ for a loose R5 with a slightly different sticker? A "hard to find" variant that seems to all of a sudden pop up daily on...

    And so it begins.....

As I said a little while ago Si, if parting with your collection can pay off your mortgage at your age..go for it and don't look back. Wish you all the best mate, I'm sure you'll be back spending every last penny on toys once you've paid off the house! :D

    Non sonic welded LXW

It's always a good idea to be sure that any "NSW" figure hasn't been forced apart. It's hard to tell from pictures but a true "NON" sonic welded figure should have no broken tabs or signs of ever being fused together with the other torso half. Easier to tell in hand just by running your finger...
