Its amazing I've had this figure for over 40 years and only just noticed it. I was looking at it to see if the head still clicked and noticed the leg paint error. The head still clicks btw. That's what makes my R2 more valuable to me like the other 60 figures I still have from when I was a kid...

Does anyone know of a variant R2D2 (hard dome) that only had one blue leg stripe instead of one on each leg?. I was just looking at my childhood R2 and noticed this. Its like it was never painted. It doesn't look like the paint has worn off. There was no info on this on variant villan.

Well I've started.... Bought my 1st three figures since 1985: Princess Leia Organa (near mint complete) Princess Leia Organa (Hoth Outfit) (good condition, no blaster) Paploo (excellent condition complete) Yodas cane (epm to complete my childhood brown snake yoda). About 33 to go.
