Palitoy Yoda Hand Puppet

Hi all,

Any thoughts on the price of this boxed Yoda Hand Puppet? The box has a few issues that I've photographed but isn't in to bad of shape and the Yoda has a small told spot or something to it as does the box interior which seems to be becoming more frequent with these figures. I'm not sure if the puppet was ever played with as it looks mint and also doesn't look to have ever been removed from the card back (although it's hard to know for sure).

Any thoughts appreciated as I'm struggling to see any that have sold recently.

I sold my one last year for around the £50 mark if I remember correctly. Mine was boxed, similar condition but no insert.

Two sold in the US on eBay recently with inserts for £100. Without inserts £50-£70.

Thanks for the comments guys and were the ones you mentioned Kenner? I'm not sure if it being Palitoy would make a whole lot of difference but I haven't seen one in a while.

I'd say around £100-130, maybe a bit more. I can't remember the last time I saw one with an insert

Thanks Carl, I might through this one on eBay with your price range suggestion BIN and see if there's any interest unless someone on here is looking for one.

I think there's £1 listings this weekend. If you're chucking it on there maybe go a bit higher. You can always come down

With the £1 listing you have to make sure you sell within the 4 day time frame I think. Nice Yoda, good luck with the sale.

Only if you Auction it. If you put it up BIN you need to sell in the initial 30 day period

I thought it was the first listing time so if it's a 7 day auction then that's how long the offer lasts for. I'll have to have a look into it a bit further as maybe you're right that it's only for 4 day auction listings.

The last one I sold (about 8 months ago) was in slightly better shape - never been played with but not sealed. I got £150 for it almost straight away no questions asked

So I might have pitched it slightly less than what it could have fetched.

I'd say start it about there, maybe £150 and see how it goes, or possibly a bit higher at £175 - you can always put best offer on it. The Palitoy ones don't come up that often.

Really nice example and as you say the Palitoy premium adds to the value, still tied (doesn't look like it's been removed) so again this would add to value, inserts and base tab are also a bonus, really nice example and Palitoy are not coming up as much
I would go the £175 as a starter on evilbay

I never came across these as a kid ... no idea about price but did want to say what a brilliant toy puppet . Great screen likeness ! (Better than phantom menace for sure !)

Thanks and I don't think the Palitoy boxed version comes up much which is probably why there were a few people looking for one. I'm glad it's gone to someone looking for it in their collection though as it's been boxed away for years and I can't even remember ever displaying it which is a real shame for something like this.
