Palitoy 12 back reseal focus

Hi all,

It's been forever since I've posted an update so instead of adding to my old thread I thought it would be easier to start a new one and break it down into sections.

The Palitoy 12 backs were always my main focus with putting a set together after growing up with these figures and even though I also put a 20 and 30 back run together I never spent as much time and energy finding the best examples I could for those as I did for the 12 backs. It did take me years to assemble them all in the condition I was after and I still have a couple of reseals to work on so it's still ongoing which is fun. As anyone who's into Palitoy figures knows the logo has massive appeal and was a big part of my toy playing childhood so it's nice to have some reminders from that time.

My reseal run is made up of both A and b backs although the Darth Vader and R2-D2 are both mocs. There are two reseals of Luke and Leia with one of each being a sealed Palitoy cut card mounted to their card backs. There's also both variants for Han although I do have a sealed Palitoy large head Han cut card to mount at some point. I also have two of the three Jawa bubble variants with just the VCJ bubble variant missing (that's one I'll probably never be able to get my hands on though  ).

As most of my Star Wars collection is not on display at the moment I decided to use my sons bedroom to take the group shots and found just the right place to do it (I think he thought they were staying at first  ).

Hope you enjoy the collection and I'll post up my other reseal runs in another thread. Here's a link to my original thread as well in case you're interested that I post up all out 6 years ago.

Ian, that's a fantastic run - congratulations. I know reseals are frowned upon in some quarters but those would grace any collection. Awesome set to display.

Fantastic stuff, Ian! Very well done indeed for assembling these. It must have taken an enormous amount of time, patience, skill and effort. I have to say though that the end results were well worth it. Many thanks for sharing such a wonderful run.

Thanks for all your comments chaps, really appreciate it and it's nice to finally get these up on here and share with you all. This set probably took about 3-4 years to put together in total but it was fun to do.
