The way collecting is going at the moment I decided that I needed to get my boxed collection down from the loft and take a photo before putting it all back. It's the first photo I've taken since 1999 and I'm suprised with how much I have.

None of it is rare and most of it beat up, vehicles not complete and inserts missing. In fact my 4 year old son plays with most the vehicles. The best thing for me though is that a lot of it is my childhood collection, yeah I was a bit of an odd kid keeping the boxes.

So the AT-AT, B-Wing, Tie Interceptor, Rancor, Rebel Transport, Y-Wing, Endor Forest Ranger, Ewok Combat Playpack, Ewok Combat Glider, One-Man Sail Skiff, Tri-Pod Laser Cannon, Vehicle Energizer, Int-4, Slave 1 and Radar Lazer Cannon are all from childhood. The MF, AT-ST and ESB Snowspeeder boxes I managed to pick up of a friend about 10 years ago which he had in his loft, amazingly I needed them to complete my childhood MF, AT-ST and Snowspeeder.

The rest I have picked up over the last 15 years or so. The AST-5 is unused with unused sticker sheets, which was my one purchase from a year I spent in Australia. :)

Anyway I have been thinking of these boxes stuck up in the loft for a while now and part of me has thought about selling them, to fund my MOC obsession. But after getting them all down and displaying them I think I want to add more!

Also started collecting Trilogo card backs as I had about 18 from childhood, managed to pick some up recently. Just buying them off eBay and seeing how far I can go with it. Really enjoying collecting these, as they are relatively cheap.

Added my Hoth Rebel Soldier army, the soldier with blaster is from my childhood. :)

Enjoy. :D

That's a great pic and most of it is from your childhood which makes it even more awesome 8)

I must do the same with my boxed stuff, haven't ever photographed it together so must make use of a spare day.

Collections like that deserve to be displayed; you should be pleased and proud to own that lot and as for "None of it is rare", I think you'd get a line forming if you ever wanted to sell the Ewok Combat set for a start!

Thanks for the kind words everyone, I really didn't realise how rare the Ewok combat set is!

Nice selection of boxed sw, always loved the tie interceptor box never had one myself, I was odd too as I kept my boxes, even odder was that most of the boxes bear the marks of my air gun target practise :( if only I could go back and talk to my younger self :)

Yeah although I'm really happy to still have all my childhood stuff, the one thing that really annoys me is that I chucked out all the cardboard inserts. So annoying! The other thing I did was keep a lot of my card backs, but again did something stupid. I circled the figures I had on the back of every single card!

Still got my cards minus the name's I even cut out the card names that I did not need yet for the mail-aways  so years later I have about 15 cards where I have pushed the names back in, if only I had only cut the names out I needed even cut the boba fett heads out of my slave one box thinking they were for an upcoming mail away which I never saw, was there ever a mail away offer for those boba heads :?: :?: :)

I would never have thought back then to keep the inserts, plastic bubbles etc, think we only kept the boxes because of the cool dioramas on the front so we could recreate them, never kept any of my action man, micronauts etc probably because the packaging did not appeal to a 10 -12 year old :)

Yeah I know what your saying about the artwork, it has always been a sweat spot for me, the ultimate would to be have everything MISB and the artwork display replicated infront with mint loose stuff. :? 8)

Started to collect Hoth Rebel Soldiers now so added a picture on page 1. Not much of a focus at the moment, but I think I've found my vintage Star Wars figure soul mate.
