Palitoy sticker on Kenner cardback ?

Just got these two and puzzled as to why the stickers are on the back ?
Not saying these are rare but can someone explain why ? I assume they just got a load of Kenner cardbacks and stuck there stickers on but would love to know why they did this? I know I've heard this explained on the rebellion podcast once but could recall why ( sorry lads I must do better on remembering ! Too much banter getting into the way of the knowledge

)

UK had the NN mailaway offer on the 65 back Palitoy card, these were just imported Kenner cards and the stickers allowed them to be included in the UK mailaway offer.

Im not sure exactly why they did it but I know it was fairly common I've got several mini rigs that are stickered up the same.

Yep, i have a kenner Darth vader with a palitoy sticker like that, and above that a clipper wrap....

Really like this card as it brings back childhood memories

Had the AT-AT Commander on this card as a kid and a Stormtrooper a couple of years ago that I sold to a guy in Holland.
