power droid 20 back pop cut out and dinged blister

Hi everyone
would this have any significant value,,pop has been cut out and as you can see `professionally replaced`
Blister has a few dings too... some higher afa graded ones (85)go for 70 quid plus so was wondering what this might be worth

Some higher what's go for 70 quid? Loose gonk droids? I do hope you wouldn't consider buying merely to U grade the loose figure? Or buy to sell on with the suggestion a new owner could U grade the loose figure?

I believe Nick sold an R5 on 21 back with a PoP cut out at the last Farthest From for a tenner. So you can find them cheap. The repair to this adds zero value, obviously. That said, I Would have thought this would have sold for around £80 (edited) on ebay.

its one of the first cards i bought and I need to raise some funds., so having a bit of a clean out..
i assumed as some loose higher graded ones were going for good money, taking into account this is still on the card,and hopefully pretty minty, the damage might be ignored and might weigh in my favour..

Fair play. Wasn't sure if you weren't sounding out a possible purchase.

As with all beater MOCs, the value of the MOC can be on parity, if not BELOW the value of the loose figure. It's stuck in that limbo whereby you are only appealing to someone who collects beaters or PoP removed cards: decent loose collectors won't touch it because it's sealed and those that collect higher grade MOCs won't be interested in it, either.

Sadly, who this will appeal to is those low life hoofwankers who buy beaters like this and send it for U grading or rip it off the card for their loose collection. If you're reading this and are one of those: I hate you with a passion only equaled by my obsession with Rachel Stevens.

I would suggest one of two things to ensure it's survival as it is: Try selling here for a price you are happy with or try it elsewhere at a price that makes it not worthwhile for U-grading pricks.

Nah, we have an open relationship. Where the restraining order allows, that is.

It's definitely got value a mint condition one would go for £500 and upwards. I would say £80 is a good value for yours, shame the pop has been cut I would be interested otherwise.

20 back power droid is probably the hardest to get for a good price, close between Walrusman, power droid and Greedo IMO.
