Unpainted head?

Any thoughts on the following?

Just having a look at the Palitoy 41 back Han Bespin MOC that I bought on ebay this week. I had noticed that he had quite a pale complexion, but on looking closer this evening, I don't think he's been painted. He's got his hair and eye details (obviously) but it looks like there's been no flesh tone. At first I just thought it was a weak colour but now I don't think there's any colour:



Also, what's with his leg? Is this a deterioration in the plastic or is this a messed up colour? The yellow stripe is applied and is fine, but his right leg is a uniform matt brown as oppose to his left leg which is the normal red brown and glossy.

I think its degradation or possibly just different parts used for him , either way its cool

I don't think the head/faces on these are painted. I have 2 in my loose collection, one has a pale face like yours, the other a pinker face. The whole head plastic is flesh coloured and the hair and eyes painted on. Interestingly my pale face one has darker oranger legs than the pink face one which has paler browner legs. Maybe on yours the tub of right legs ran out and the next tub/batch used was the browner legs and it got paired with an orangey left leg? :lol:

Thanks for that, sounds like you've probably nailed it I haven't got another Han Bespin to compare it it but next to his pink painted neck it looked off.
