R2 head/ clicker part variations?

Hi all,

i recently purchased an r2 solid dome on the cheap but the clicker was broken, or so i thought. I had a spare so i went to swap it out but the clicker was indeed intact, it just didn't meet the associated part in the head that it touches to create the clicking noise.

I always assumed the clicker/collar were the same across models but clearly there are variations. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Sounds like different coo's therefore different factories which sculpted the parts differently so not compatible. Try finding one with the same coo marking.
