I don't really have a focus as such, although when it comes to loose figure collecting, I do try to get as many visually different variants as possible, but each figure is equally important to me in that regard. I do have my personal favorites of course, but in terms of buying them, I want a Madine variant just as much as a Luke Stormtrooper one .

Regarding the Takara variants specifically, I have all 3 as good loose examples, so if you're interested in them keep an eye out for the Vader and Stormtrooper threads when they appear in Lars's Toy of the Week 2 threads where they will (hopefully, if I have time!) be blessed with new photography and updated variant info (courtesy of the wonderful Variant Villain website; my go-to source for variant information). Oop's so sorry about the username miss spell mate, your brain just auto reads sometimes, I am sorry about that won't happen again.

I will look forward to seeing further variant info on subsiquent FOTW posts, I have a few variants but mostly just the raise bar coo figures & an army of little blue boxes with a few variations, I did collect variants many many moons ago before I got in to baggies as my focus, I think it was just me & Gusty (ex forum member) who collected them back then, but it's blown up in a big way now with lots of interest in them, sold all mine off when i started on the baggies at regular loose figure prrices as nobody really collected variants back then, how things have changed over the many years.

I love all the droids & golden rod is no exception, they made a good job of the sculpt with this figure, lovely to see that square meccano Matthieu, I do love those little cards & some nice cardbacks you've got Lars.

Here's my SW-a baggie which is quite a rarity having only ever been issued with the special offer Kenner Landspeeder.

Yes the S.O vehicles are really the only ones I have as they are part of my focus, just not enough room for others sadly.

Yes it's a Kenner version which come with a bespin security guard for some odd reason, 2 twin pod CC pilots would have made a damn site more sense IMO & been way cooler

Yes I agree it is very strange that they packed it with a security guard. Maybe that is why it is rare. They did not sell many because there was no pilot in the box

I remember getting C3P0 as a kid in the 70's and being scared of breaking his limbs as it was so stiff.

Do have the 12 back MOC, but my Favourite is this ESB 41 Back

Has been re sealed with a replacement bubble ( not by me) overt the original bubble edging

He's good enough for me
