The big move

Well the time has come finally that we move to Northumberland. Big move tomorrow and start of a new life. Its been a tough year with losing a property we really wanted due to our sale falling through!! But we got a lovely cottage in a little place just outside Bamburgh. Last day at work today and it was really tough to leave such amazing colleagues, residents and their families. Will be off grid for a little while as we have lots to do and unpack. Looking forward to exploring places to find some vintage SW goodies up north

Thanks for the kind words guys, were now in, was a hectic day yesterday! Feel like I've been hit by a bus this morning still got some stuff to fetch from storage container then back down to Notts to take the hire van back be worth it in the end

Yeah moving house is probably the most stressful thing you can do that's for yourself. I moved house 3 times in 2 years about 15 years ago and haven't moved since. Like you say will be worth it once you've settled in and started gathering more stuff. lol

Its all a bit overwhelming at the moment!! Got lots to unpack, furniture to put together and the cleaning we had to do was horrendous been out to Berwick today to buy a new TV and washing machine and a few other bits just sat down for a catch up and got stuck into a nice Ruby

Absolutely we love the place already, got lots to do to the place as in decorating and the garden, but will take it as it comes
