Well if it had not been for the hands on the figure and the head then I would have said kenner did a great job. But the hands on this figure are no good for blasters. I think they used the hands from leia endor on this figure, small hands with bad room for a blaster Wrong hair colour and the head could have been made better.

Carded above. Not the best of cards, but, displays ok. Loose here, with a friend. Agree with your description, the face is not quite right and hands small for the blaster. However, I watched the Cartoons as a child so the Droids line holds some nostalgia for me.

I'm afraid I've never collected either the Droids or Ewoks line of figures, so I can't help with this particular thread. However, it's great to see some terrific examples already posted! Tremendous work guys!

I first saw droids as a teenager in the 90s for the first time in danish tv. at that time I did not know there was any droids toy, it was first in 2001 I learned about the droids toy. I first saw droids as a teenager in the 90s for the first time in danish tv. at that time I did not know there was any droids toy, it was first in 2001 I learned about the droids toy. Hi. I recall watching the cartoons when I was quite young in the 80s, when they were on tv in realtime. Droids, as I recall, was earlier with the Ewoks series later. Ewoks was longer lived on tv so I'm assuming was more popular as a cartoon than Droids and was re ran - can't remember the channel, but, would have been 1 of only 4 available in the UK at the time! I don't remember the toys as a child - hopefully others can comment on UK availability. My carded Kea Moll figure was acquired in the 90s when I was collecting as a teenager - prob from a train and toy fair. The loose figure I bought towards the end of the pandemic when I returned to collecting. I was missing many of the Droids/Ewoks and a couple of last 17s loose complete, which was my focus in 2020/21 (still missing Sise Fromm!).

Although I didn't watch them myself at the time, I'm pretty sure both cartoon series were shown on BBC 1 here in the UK. My memory is that they formed part of the after school kids TV lineup shown from about 4 pm until the 6 o'clock news, although for all I know they may also have been shown again at other times too, such as part of Saturday morning kids TV.

I love Kea Moll! She was a fun character on Droids and a decent figure. As a kid I thought her hair was kind of crazy on the figure. The card art is one of the better Droids ones.

Thanks for all the great info I guesskids just loved ewoks more than droids so they made more episodes I remember when I was a kid in denmark in the 80s all the kids saying the ewoks are so cute

You can watch the Cartoons on Disney +. I introduced them to my children. Very short lived interest… and I have to admit not the same level of appeal as when I was 4/5 yrs old!

I saw them last year on disney plus and I think the droids series are still good, the ewoks series are not so good anymore as I remember it. I guess it is because I am not a kid anymore sorry to hear it was short lived interest with your kids I think that is very common today, there is so much today for kids, it is not like when we was kids, there was less of everything.

Ha ha, it does look a bit odd. I did see one with an unpainted head. This one is an early version without foot holes too. I suppose I should track down a loose production one to display beside it.

Oh so there are also variants of this test shot, some with head and other without, I am still learning after so many years, thanks for all the info

not by bag TBH, I did collect a few of the droids line many years ago, but could not find any real love for them & passed them along to somone who did, I have still to this day never watched the series as I've heard enough others saying it was not all that good, the figures were all a bit to bright/garish for my taste, same thing with the ewoks line, I stick to the OG vintage figures.

I can't comment on this Lars, I don't remember Droids being on TV or indeed the toy line- I think by this time I would have been around 15 years old and had to keep telling myself (reluctantly, probably) that I was too old for toys and cartoons! I only found out about the Droids run when I got back in to collecting in the early 2010s.
