Vintage Y Wing Bomb light grey or dark grey

Hi guys was sorting out some bit and came across my Y Wing bombs and noticed one is lighter than the other. Any ideas at all please? Was one Palitoy and the other Kenner etc? Thanks

Sorry, I don't know the answer, but one thing I can say is that running changes certainly did happen throughout the course of the vintage line, so I am not surprised to see two different versions of the bomb. I have however also seen fake Y-Wing bombs for sale before now, but if you have owned yours long enough to pre-date the fake market, you can be confident they are genuine, but as for which one came first, or whether one belongs to Kenner and the other Palitoy, I'm afraid I am not knowledgeable enough to say.

good question, I have no idea. I do not remember if my y-wings are all complete. But I can check them to see if I have bombs on all of them and if they are diffrent

okay I have 2 light grey and one dark grey all 3 of my boxes are kenner. But one of the Y-wing is from my childhood but the box is not from my childhood it is one I have added to it later. One I have from a danish childhood lot and the last one I have no idea at the moment where I have it from. So I guess it does not help much

Maybe Emiel from the forum can help, I am sure he has the kenner and the bilogo box maybe also a tri-logo box
