Hi everyone

New member here!

I'm interested in early graded MOCs and wondered if these are generally on sale at echo base event in Redditch on 11th October? It's a long drive so want to make sure it's likely to be worth the trip.

Any other recommendations for buying MOCs? I use eBay but that's about it.

Cheers all!

Steve

Hi Steve,

Welcome, yes there are many graded and none graded MOCs. Have picked up a number of MOCs from Echo over the year would highly recommend the show. There are items for sale you wouldn't see anywhere else.

Have posted my finds from Echo here:

Hope to see you there. I will be working with the actors on the day. See you live in York would highly recommend traveling down on Friday and staying over that what I always do as its about the same distance for me as well.

Vintage collecting isn't like ordering on Amazon - some events there will be loads available and bugger all you want/need, other times there's so much you simply can't buy it all. Head to the event, aim to meet people, chat to strangers, maybe get an autograph or two and just chill. If you get a few items you want that's a bonus, if you get a few items you never knew you wanted even better.

Thanks Steve - really helpful and I'll take your advice and travel down the night before to make more of a day of it. Any idea where to get tickets or can you turn up on the day?

Hi Steve no problem. If you want an early bird you will need to contact the admins on Facebook. After a certain time either 10 or 10.30 it's free to get in but an early bird is advised. Also get there early as the que is massive.

Hi Steve - thanks again, really appreciate the guidance and hope to see you there on the day! PS - I'm not on Facebook - is there an email address or number you're aware of that I can contact for tickets instead?

Hi Steve - as a new member my profile won't let me private message - any ideas or could you PM me? Cheers and thanks again for your help.

Sounds great and agree with the perspective. I've only ever found items on eBay so looking forward to seeing what's there and connecting with other collectors!
