Weird Rub on Death Star Commanders legs!!

Hi,

Just bought a decent Death Star Commander, blaster seems original as does the figure.

However on both legs (say top of his thigh) he has two weird rubs as if the plastic has been rubbed off some how! I don't have much knowledge of this figure is this normal, like its a common factory issue! I have provided pics any advice is more than welcome.

I've no idea what causes it, but I have seen it on rare occasions in the past.

Hi, cheers for the reply. Yes the figure is in too good a condition for it to have occurred in play which was my first thought. Could it be due to where the figure was produced maybe? Cheers

It could be factory tooling wear I guess but to me it looks more like a contact reaction with something it has been stored with / against / touching

You know i hadn't thought of that…maybe how its been stored or as you say stored against. Its so annoying though as the rest of the figure is lovely!!

I also thinking I have seen it before on a figure I have or maybe still have, not that it helps much

I am not sure but I think it was Hoth Stormtrooper
