Hello chaps, long time no speak!
Thought I´d pop in to say hi and share some star wars related "art"
Been trying to get back into drawing, and doing some star wars stuff seem to give me a boost mentally, so here are some small sketches I´ve done lately:
(Haven´t got the likeness down yet on the portraits, but I´ll get there one day)

Edit: thought the images would show up as thumbnails…. Couldn´t resize them on my ipad, so uploaded to imgBB, thought the links would just be the pics as well but alas…

Having a go at something different

Moved house to the countryside and picked up a stick on a walk and decided to have a bash at trying to create a walking staff/stick using chisel and a dremmel tool I got for my birthday
Trying a woodland spirit/ gandalfesque but this may go wrong but will enjoy the practice !

Thanks, they´re maybe a tad bit rushed, but I am having alot of fun doing them, putting no pressure on myself in doing them quick so I guess it´s all good.
Here´s another one for tonight:

learning colors, getting the values right is a challenge, so used to just doing everything in black and white:

Finished the staff enjoyed doing it finished with stain and yacht varnish skills need more work but enjoyed the process so on to the next one

I've always loved the Eddie Paul/Ralph McQuarrie 'Empire Day' promo posters for the UK ESB premiere.
As a real one is way out of my price range, I thought I'd have a go at recreating one for myself.
Created using Photoshop/Affinity Designer and giclée printed onto German Etching paper (30"x 40").
