Modern Valuations 1990 Onwards

Hey this is more of a question, i bought this star wars original trilogy dvd set, from 2004, its the 4 disc digi pak widescreen edition, that includes episode 4, 5, 6 and the bonus dvd. However, episode 4 (titled star wars) and episode 6 (titled return of the jedi) are switched. I mean although on the actual dvd it says "return of the jedi" the movie is actually episode 4 "new hope". And the dvd that is titled "star wars" and supposed to be episode 4 is actually episode 6. Do you get what I mean?
At first I assumed it happened for everyone but my friends dvd set was normal so I was just wondering if it happened to anyone else? Is it somehow a fake that got to stores or is it just an error? Is it worth more or less because of it?

Thanks for the help, was wondering about it for years so will appreciate any advice or help.

Value wise I've seen examples on eBay for a couple of quid up to a decent chunk for the magazine series they did (knowledge of which is thanks to the scruffy bugger, I didn't even know the name of the books I read/played )

I was chatting to [mention]ScruffyLookingNH[/mention] about these the other day. I'd love to have these if they're at the cheaper end of things but being tight will pass if they are higher end books :lol:

Citadel Of Chaos was the first one I had and I ended up with most of the ones you've pictured as well as a few more. I'm not sure as to value although an eBay search would probably give you the best idea. I found some a few years back in a charity shop but they were later editions as the pictures weren't these original ones. These books are so hard to get through though and frustrate the hell out of me. Now I remember why I stopped getting them :lol:

Nice to see though, they really do bring back a lot of memories (although mainly me throwing them across the room).

Sadly I'm honest and Simon just said that yours are £30 or so for the lot, more if they're first prints so I'd be happier if you checked that first

It's the Star Wars 15th Anniversary poster produced by Killian Enterprises. It's signed by both the Hildebrandt Brothers and was a limited run (1000 maybe?).

I've put it in the modern section as it's not strictly vintage.

This is the 'Vintage Valuation Requests' thread, and this piece is not vintage, but rather consists of two figures from the modern line and hence your request needs posting in the 'Modern Valuation Thread' here: https://starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=40499.

More importantly however, you can't find any information about this piece because it is not a Hasbro release, but instead a custom piece. Since it has the actors' autographs on it, it will have some small value, but frankly not much, since neither actor's autograph is particularly rare or valuable.

As well as the legs, side door and the dish it looks like your also missing the internal doors, the floor panels, the chess pieces and the training ball and arm.

I'd say sold as is it's £30-50. Probably worth more as parts, the gun that goes underneath is around £20 on its own.

If you can find the legs they're a tenner each, the dish is another £20 and the floor panels are a good £20-30

The training arm and ball would be £30 or so. Not sure on the chess pieces but probably at least £15-20

Fully complete around £120-150, sadly these are almost always worth more in pieces than whole. You can try on here but eBay will have a bigger target audience

Lejackel is right on the ball price wise, if it was complete (I wouldnt of minded the missing Han and chewie) id of bought it for my own collection. Worth finding those bits if you can.

Prices vary depending on condition, its a bit of an odd range too due to the fact that they are all repacks. All of them are easily obtainable be it through the carded or BS 6inch line. The undersized R2 tends to be rather high but the recent release on the empire card will effect prices, the Sand People consistently sits on the higher range due to the fact that even the BS line versions are thin on the ground in availability.

Death squad commander £8-£10
Jawa £5-£8
Leia £5-£8
Sand people about £20-25 maybe 30 if you get lucky
Vader £10-£15
Ben £10-£15
Chewie £15
Storm Trooper £20
C3P0 £15
Farm Luke £15-£20

Cant honestly remember what others came out first, R5, farm Luke and xwing Luke came later.

If you have Vader, Ben, R5, X wing Luke id be interested in those, condition of the cards is important though as they are not as strong as the normal VC stock they used.... :?
