Why are people that stupid that they think they can steal other people's pictures to sell their items.?

Just been going through eBay and thought that I recognised a couple of pictures for figures that I'd sold in the past - take a look at the sellers listings and you can see that a lot of the figures he has have different backgrounds - which is a bit strange. Anyway, it turns out he is definitely using my old pictures for some of his ads and probably has been pinching loads of others as well

Mine - sold 18th July

Yeah i've had this before. Reported it to ebay, even phoned them and nothing happened. Phoned again, was assured they'd look into it... nothing happened.
Best thing to do is put a watermark on your photos. It's easy to do and stops, for the most part, people stealing them.
I do it on a couple of mine but should do it on all of them. I put a lot of work into my photos and how my sales look and it irks me that others can just take them and use them as their own.

Like this.

Good idea tagging. You can also copyright/encode your photos can't you? Not sure how but seem to remember someone showing me on Photoshop once.

What a ****ing bell-end nicking your shots!

Least he didn't sell his for more than I did

I did send him a message and he apologised so hopefully he sticks to his word - otherwise he will be reported
