Let me know what you guys think about doing another Toy Of The Week here in 2024.

I have noticed not many share more stuff in the old threads and maybe many of us have got more, upgraded some items or just sold some items since we last did it. We have also got some new members since we last did it and maybe they will also share their collection and discuss star wars toy.

So what do you think about doing another Toy Of The Week ? should we just open the old ones again or just make some new threads ?

I was thinking new threads would maybe be the best and if some members have not got any new stuff and want to share then they can just copy old pictures from the old threads in the new threads

I would be in favour of separating the Kenner and Palitoy versions of the Cantina, Land of the Jawas and Droid Factory playsets, just as you have with the 2 Death Star playsets. The Kenner and Palitoy versions of each of these toys have completely different boxes and the toys themselves are similar, yet also quite different, and in my opinion warrant entries of their own

I have a couple of other suggestions which might improve things this time around, if you do decide to re-do the Toy of the Week threads.

Firstly, for those really rare items like the 3-packs (Hero Set, Villain Set, etc.), I think it might be a good idea to include them all in one single thread. Last time some of these really rare items had few or no entries posted at all, so if you did combine them into one single thread, hopefully there would at least be some posts, plus it saves the disappointment of multiple posts with few or no entries in them.

Secondly, speaking as a regular contributor last time, I would much prefer it if this time we reverted to just one thread each week rather than two please. That way it gives more time for members to post their pictures (and to take new photos, if needed), plus it also reduces the pressure on those of us that like to post to have to do twice the amount of work each week. Last time I very much enjoyed participating in the TOTW threads, but I must admit it could be quite a bit of work getting each post together, so only having one to do each week would ease the pressure quite a bit and make it even more enjoyable.

Thanks jeremy, I think I began last time with doing it 1 time every week but some members wanted 2 every week as I remember it so I changed it then. But 1 every week could for sure be better. I also did not had time to share all my items in each thread because 2 posts every week was to much.

Yes the 3 packs can be placed in one thread.
