Maybe, there is some chatter that the slave 1 will have a Bespin thing going for it, but that would most likely be MiniFigs.

After that I just don't see lego revisiting much of anything OT, let alone Bespin. With the Ewok village and DS still about and Jabba's palace and echo base still for sale they have more than enough playset focused sets on shelves. the b-wing marks the last of the wing fighters with the X, Y and A all redone in the last few years, the falcon and a tie fighter also done, Jabbas barge, AT-AT etc, there just isn't anything left to do.

Their contracts are all with Disney now so from this coming Christmas it is all about new shows, new films and so on, my guess is one or two OT sets a year and that includes prequels which as far a Disney are concerned are all OT films now.

On the plus side if those one or two sets a year are all. UCS then your wish could come true, they could justify the high cost and set size by pushing it as a May 4th promo or something.

If anyone is iterested given this wave of OT sets are all remakes i staked the class of 2014 up against their last version:

Cantina:
Old version 2004, £27.99, 193 peices
New version 2014, £64.99, 615 peices

B-Wing
Old version 2005, £24.99, 435 peices
New version 2014, £49.99, 448 peices

Star Destroyer
Old version 2006, £79.99, 1367 peices
New veersion 2014, £119.99, 1359 peices

AT-AT
Old version 2010, £91.99, 815 peices
New version 2014, £109.99, 1138 peices

Snowspeeder (last set to have a speeder on its own, no not wampa cave etc)
Old version 2004, £19.99, 214 peices
New version 2014, £34.99, 278 peices

Bit of a mixed bag on the value for money front i think, Star Destroyer is £40 more for less pieces, the B-Wing is double the price for very few additional pieces, the snowspeeder is £15 for 60 extra peices so could be ok. The Cantina does look like a good price and the AT-AT doesn't look too bad £20 more for over 300 extra pieces.

Ugly rumour surfacing that the upcoming Sandcrawler will by $350... given global pricing that could be £350 but more likely £299 if true. No word on part count, figures size etc.
I can take that price if we see something like a full purchase of droids scene with figures to match otherwise i hope this is just the rumour mill turning and we end up with a £199 price tag or less, something comparable with the Red 5 leaving the 'Fall' release of Slave 1 to be the big ticket item for the year.

Don't see why it has to be so big in the first place

Would be quite happy with a smaller version and more interesting mini figs.

Yep, becoming a real thing and one i would say devides the Lego comunity more than the action figure one.
Just search for AFA Millenium Falcon Lego or maybe Mr Gold (although without AFA he is still expensive). I sort of see why people might AFA the minifigs, esspecially the rare limited ones but where the prices come from i have no idea. Like all things if it protects the toy so people can enjoy it for years to come then OK, but just like action figures you can buy cases for lego figs and leave it like that. But why AFA a box... no idea. Besided Lego is basically unbreakable so it wants to be built...

Are these the droids we,re looking for... Well the droids within the sandcrawler. Word on 'the street' is this is the May 4th release - http://www.flickr.com/photos/96063791@N02/12851561125/

Not sure what street but given the set number in the bottom of the photo I would say this is the real deal, at £250 I am expecting more 'stuff' a small farmstead etc.

Personally I like the plate finish and more. Jawa's...UTINI...

^ yeah! it is a fan based model that gained 10,000 votes on the lego Cuusoo site and Lego are now turning it into an official model. No idea on price yet but somewhere around the £50 is a fair guess and it will be on shelves around August I think they said. It looks great and will look even better next to the Back to the Future set from last year, 80's themed lego rocks.

Definitely prefer this Sandcrawler to the previous one.

This one seems more weather-beaten and industrial and I like the plate finish.

I do hope there will be more mini-figs than just Owen and a few Jawa's though for the asking price, I don't think we will get a Homested though.

I don't buy many Lego sets but this along with the new Cantina I will be buying :p

The more I see it the more I want it, but it is a pricey little number.

Looks very detailed in parts and should be an interesting and enjoyable build, which is part of the whole Lego experience.

Agreed, the price is high, but it is a must buy for me and I have been saving my VIP points for almost a year now so that will help cut the price a bit. Mind you I don't have the room to build it...

It's going to take up some serious space and I will definitely have to have a major re-arrangement of everything when I eventually get it.

I've got a £25 TRU Gift Card saved so far, however I don't think that's quite enough to buy it
