I wanted to make some effort to share some stuff over here on swfuk, and I couldn't think of anything better than some nice Palitoy figures what I've found locally in southern Ontario, Canada. If I remember correctly, all of these were on Kijiji (which is a local classifieds site in Canada), and I don't think any of the sellers knew anything about Palitoy, and they had other American/Canadian figures for sale. The Fett was about the same price as a Kenner USA ROTJ Fett when I picked it up a couple years ago.
I found each one of these purchases very interesting because at least one of these guys was a collector. Strange that items like these can make it over here, and end up with someone not familiar with the licensee variations. Of course, people sell their collections to less interested parties, who then part them out.
The Fett is a 65 back Bandolier offer, which Mr. Palitoy was kind enough to look at for me (here on swfuk) shortly after I picked it up. I wasn't too familiar with Palitoy figures and we were a little closer to the TT incident at the time so that reassurance and direction to his list of affected cards, (which I should have found on my own with the slightest about of research :lol: ) was much appreciated.
