First BAFTA for The Force Awakens

I'm not one for watching award ceremonies, but I've just found myself tuning into BBC One; and voluntarily clapping at the announcement that Star Wars has just won the Special Visual Effects award!

Apart from the fact that its Star Wars, its good to see it win some bits and pieces compared to the usual award winning efforts that oft feel they were made as award winning vehicles rather than good, watchable films.

That's good, the effects in TFA are great and John Boyega deserves it. I thought he was the best one in it.

I watched this with the Mrs. Star Wars won both BAFTAS it was nominated for.
John Boyega continues to be a great ambassador and a truly humble guy. Delighted for him.

Great to see, can't see it winning anything for best origional story though.
