Please note, only beverages purchased on the premises can be consumed at the event, no own or purchased off premises and brought into the town hall - this nearly caused a lot of trouble last year - I'm not kidding either.

Whilst there is an alcohol license for the Town Hall, it extends to the purchase and consumption of it at the Town Hall, the catering is run by one of the pubs, who watch very carefully and cautioned me at last years event with alcohol being brought from outside. This cannot happen again, unless someone wants to cover the £5,000 fine.
