carded valuations please

Thanks guys

As i said i'm not sure if i will sell i have no need to apart from the space issue but its good to know they have some worth. If i do it will be here on the forums but i'm in no rush. I collected some die cast figures Star Wars Action master figures some individual carded and a four pack & six pack i did a quick look on ebay and it seems that these are worth probably what i bought them for  but mine are green packaging rather than red worth posting?

prices look right to me mini rigs 15-30 they yo yo a bit wampa.. 50 because of inserts?
The inserts are always missing so imo that adds a tenner but the main jump in value is the box. You can get ESB every day of the week, Jedi are much harder to find

Never knew jedi were rarer good to know

Thanks everyone learned some useful information. Anyone got any estimates on Ree Yees, the Klaatus, Nikto or Weequay or Zukkus does being Kenner make much of a difference?

Roughly £50 each apart from Zuk who would be about £90

That Clipper sure is a nice card but most likely a Toy Toni as well.
They are stil collectable but at lower prices.

But it is nice to see stuff coming out of the woodworks after all these years :)

What makes you think that? I was under the impression he only had access to standard Palitoy cardbacks. Has there been any evidence on Clipper cardbacks in his creations up till now?

100% not a TT.
Interested in the Biker Scout and ERG if they come up for sale.

Cheers,

Again while its obvious that i'm not any where near an expert i 100% know i got Rebel Commander at least a year or two before the Snow Trooper and that was roughly nearly 30 years ago. It would seem strange that while at the time i was certainly was unaware that the Snow Trooper wasn't genuine as most were that if it was possible to re-card a figure perfectly for what was a low value figure in the Commander when i bought him while i can't remember i think i would've paid £5-10 for him surely he'd of perfected his technique for a more expensive Snow Trooper figure that he was selling for £15. The only two things i bought at fairs were the Snow Trooper and a Jabba playset on stalls which were from a collector fair held in a church in central London in the early nineties. If any experts in clipper or TT need any other pictures of the Commander i'll be happy to oblige to confirm either way.

Last of my stuff the jigsaws i'd just like some more information about them i thought i had a set of four was their more?. I have a Jabba playset which if anyone could advise to a current value i'd be grateful.

Seems on ebay, prices for the Jabba playset are all over the place. Highest price recently £147 and as low today for £27.30 which maybe an anomaly. I would say for yours with a seemingly nice box and complete i think anywhere between £80 - £100. ROTJ Jigsaws seems to struggle to sell or even get bids at starting prices of £2.50 on ebay. They are very plentiful as well.

Toni had Dutch clipper cards as well as German General Mills cards. These were printed by palitoy as well hence the availability here and as part of the infamous batch sold to Toni.

Imperial commander was on the list with both 45a General Mills cardbacks and 45 clipper cardbacks like this one. The list stated 145 but didn't state the split.

I would be really reluctant to say either way wether it is or isn't, and have always been a little wary of anything on the list, but that's just me. What I will say though is I haven't yet seen one that has an aged bubble like this, which would far more likely indicate that it was original.

I can't see the pictures very clearly on my phone, but the bubble looks reasonably squarely on. The originally factory sealed cards tend to have a good press around the seal and one of the things that gives away the later sealed cards is a v in the stem, as common assumption is an iron would have been used to seal the cards.

If you want any help with it then there is a Dutch Facebook collectors group that would be worth floating the pictures through. Not only would you likely get an indication of authenticity, you would get a measure of rarity from them. Be careful though, as the Dutch collecting community is small but can be ruthless. They have a lot of good, knowledgeable guys though.

Unfortunately, i don't use facebook but i'm happy to provide more pictures to anyone to try to confirm it either way. He certainly doesn't feel like my Snow Trooper with no glue or iron marks on the card he also doesn't have a triangle at the bubble. I only noticed when someone pointed out the placement of the bubble on my Snow Trooper just how high up it is  Rebel Commander looks like my other carded figures. Personally i think he's genuine simply because i bought him well before the Snow Trooper probably at a boot fair or local school fair so he would've already his homemade figures mixed up with other sellers and i'm sure if he'd perfected his technique he wouldn't be so sloppy on later figures but i'm happy if it proves otherwise since i paid next to nothing for him compared to his value today. I'd imagine that the more sought after figures would've received a better job than figures that no-one really wanted.
I will say that this whole scandal must've been a terrible experience for many people once it came to light their must be many collectors whose collections have been made up of these fakes i can imagine their anger at this guy who basically conned people and got away with it. I'm not sure this is the right place to ask but the Tri logo bubbles don't seem to yellow while the others do anyone know why this happens? I'm convinced that my Darth Vader had a lovely clear bubble and was mint when i got him but now 30 years on the bubble is now brown and very brittle.

I've edited this post to add some extra pictures of Rebel Commander one thing i'm struggling with is on the list of known Toy Toni re-cards the Dutch Clipper Rebel Commander is a 72 back card while mine is a 45.

I would say that was a Toni due to the bubble placement. Toni also had the smaller double stem according to Jason website.

If you look at the open card the bubble is in a different place. Also an Internet image shows original bubble location in the bottom left corner.

As others have said though these still hold a good value when for sale.

Best,
Mark

I'm not really sure where to put these as not vintage in the strictest sense they are from before the new figures were produced. I also have a six pack but this has red instead of green packaging.

Thanks everyone for your help i think i'll sell the collection i've priced it up based on what people have said and i intend to sell as one lot. I understand i might be able to get more at the higher values quoted as well as selling individual figures or small groups but if i'm going to sell i'd rather it all went rather than having a few figures left.
