It was an awesome news story, i was chuckling about for ages when search was called off.

Wasn't there one recently with a white tiger or leopard or something and in fact it was a stuffed toy? lol

I remember hearing that they got confirmation of it not being a real big cat when the wind from the police helicopter blades knocked it over as they got near LOL

Hey Joe, didn't here about that one. The recent story was all over the news even up here in aberdeen. Some of the interviews with the locals were brilliant.

A spokeswoman for the force said: "After a brief stalk through the Hedge End savannah, the officer realised the tiger was not moving and the air support using their cameras realised there was a lack of heat source.

"The tiger then rolled over in the down draft and it was at that point it became obvious it was a stuffed life-size toy
