Advertising,promotional plus an happy Ebay story

Hey guys,

Im a big collector of advertising and promo material from the first 6 movies. Got a fair bit myself and just wanted to know if i was alone in my quest. I have stuff from the OT right through to the PT and i think this stuff is timeless. Whether its lyons maid from the 80,s, walkers crisps SE from the 90,s or pepsi/kelloggs from the PT i love it.

I also have had some real nice deals on Ebay lately. One guy i had bought from said i could have everything else he had left for £15. I bought it from him and it came in a huge box thursday. There were over 100 bits, including around 20 cereal boxes from the SE right through to ROTS.

Another item i wanted was this lot:

It also came with 3 huge cloth shop front TPM banners of the pod race scene. I messaged the guy and said id collect sometime as its quite nearby and he said i could have them for free before he bins them. They were in his way so needed them gone. Hence, i arranged to delver something near to him through work and he left them in a safe place for me.

Lee, you're not alone. I picked up a few pieces since TPM including one of those cloth banners (other two missing when I got there), a big cardboard 3D standee for the video release of TPM, and, most recently, the TRU 2m long plastic Naboo starfighter and the scaled Droid Fighter. I think it's all pretty cool and, unlike the figures and paid for stuff, a bit unusual.

Looks like you've had some superb scores there! Most impressive, especially for the price of an action figure!

Cool scores, i like the promotional stuff ,don't have much myself, but its nice to see other peoples collections

I've collected various pieces spanning the OT and 90's/Special Editions. They're nice to collect bu can take up a bit of space

I actually bought this stuff on ebay from a guy in France after I got a Meccano Jawa as I thought they went well together but I don't really have anywhere to display them together. They're just magazine ads I think but assuming you're in the UK I can post them to you gratis if you like?
