And here we have it - the final 2 comm tech figures
Probably paid way over the top to get these. Leia came from the US (still cheaper than any UK one I could find) and R2 is yellowing in the bubble - which is a bit annoying - but as it was the only one I could find I figured… Sod it…

Just the freeze frame figures to go now.

Congratulations.
It's normally the trays on the R2 that goes yellow rather than the bubble, these were short cased back in the day hence their rarity and have always been expensive
Great Leia, one of the best figures of her in my opinion.
Good luck with the FF run's, there's some very expensive cards amongst those And they seem to be getting harder to find nowadays.

Indeed - the FF are far more expensive than I imagined - it might have to wait a little before I get going there I think - or rather it may well take a little while to get them all. Thankfully only after the 25 figures who debuted on that card - I don't do variants etc.

Overall I think the POTF2 stuff is now starting to go up in price, maybe folks are getting more into it, maybe figures are becoming harder to find etc. Or true vintage is now soooo expensive POTF2 represents a good alternative, especially for younger/newer collectors who grew up on the prequels so at 20+ years old POTF2 is vintage of sorts? Whatever the reason the value seems to be increasing and putting together full runs is getting harder and pricey. Now or never I think :)

Absolutely, all of those are affecting POTF2 prices.
I'm looking for a MIMSB A Wing and the last two long picture cards that I need for a reasonable price with no luck…yet🤞
Good luck with the FF cards.

Considering I have collected two full sets of EP1 figures in my life - I never actually owned one of these before….

Great additions to your collection, I've just re-jigged my display and pretty much boxed up all my modern Vintage Collection MOCs and boxed vehicle's.
If I ever decide to sell I'll definitely give you a shout

Ha Please don't I feel I am in enough trouble with the sets I've bought of late - don't need people fuelling the fire - so to speak :)

I am in half a mind to move on to the Power of the Jedi line - that was lovely, but starting from zero is a pain and again, those figures are not cheep, most seem to be over £20 a figure which I can't quite work out why.

There were some great 'exclusives' and 'oddities' that came out after that, but the Vintager Collection really was the next great line after that. I think if I dig out what have in storage I have a lot of the figures from 2018 onwards, but nothing from the 2010 - 2013 (I say nothing I do have the Phantom Menace figures) so maybe that might be the next place to re-visit - but some of those are nuts pricing as well.

I would imagine I will finish of the POF2 over December and see from there.....

And the award for most oversized and wasteful packaging ever made by Hasbro goes to...

These pictures really don't do this box justice, because it's gigantic! It's vastly too wide, deep and tall! Yes, the packaging looks great, but its volume is about twenty times greater than it needs to be. Don't believe me? Let's see how much space the opened contents actually take up on the shelf:

I suppose it's a good base for a diorama but given most won't even get opened and most of those that do will end up on a shelf it is something of a waste. I assume the bright side is that it looks recyclable
