Mods, if in the wrong section then please move and consider a slap on the wrist administered.

The below is something I started on in 1998. It was one of the very, very few items I didn't sell off when Star Wars and I parted way for the second time in my life. By then I had the signatures of Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, Femi Taylor (Oola), Paul Blake (Greedo), Warrick Davies (Wicket) and Michael Carter (Bib Fortuna). The poster got rolled up and my SW hiatus commenced.

Roll forward to today and I took the family to "I have a bad feeling about this" in Southampton. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't been sure what to expect and it really was excellent. One day it may even be as good as FF! ;) Anyway, appearing there were a number of original Trilogy actors and I finally got David Prowse (Ben; the cheeky bugger wanted £20 a squiggle AND another tenner for a photo!) to add his name as well as Mike Edmonds (Logray, Ugnaught and little bit of Jabba!) and the very pleasant Alan Harris (Bossk, various stormtroopers, a Bespin Guard, the body of the Carbonite block (yes, really) and the model for the white armoured prototype Boba Fett! What a list!). So it's up to 9 now with so many more to go. My aim is to get to 40 named characters and the cherry on top would be George himself. Yeah, right.....

The poster choice was hardly the best, but I wanted something that would encompass all three films and this was the best I could do. Sucks a bit as an artwork one would be better.

If anyone is going to an event where someone is signing then please, please give me a shout! I'll send the poster and cover the charges plus a pint to add more names to it!

that's a nice poster, and the signers that you have so far are ace to, pricewise its getting more and more expensive to get autographs these days I understand people have to make a living, but its a bit cheeky asking for money when wanting a pic with your own camera, and the main cast members will cost you a lot more to, good luck with it, it is very cool

Looks like a fun project Simon! Good luck picking up the rest of the signatures you need!

Looks great bud. The SE ingot is one of the most popular posters and looks very good,

Ill see if i can dig mine out, however its not an ingot. Its got around 110 signatures on it now and i have all the major cast out of the way except for Ford and Oz. It hasnt got Alec or Peter either as i started it in 2008 and havent added a signature since 2012, which was McDiarmid. Its currently residing stateside waiting Fords sig and then im going to have studio c look at it and then get it archivally framed.

found an earlier pic;

Thanks guys, it's a bit of fun but yes, it's getting expensive. The last time I had it signed before last week was by Warrick Davis in about 1998/9 and he charged £2....all of which he was donating to charity.

Damn, Lee! I thought I was being ambitious with 40, but 110! That insane! :D That really is a beauty and I reckon you not only have a unique piece there but, once authenticated (if you go down that route) I reckon you have yourself a genuine World Record holder in that poster. PM on it's way to ask a favour....

These make really great on-going projects and it's fun tracking down stars for signatures, I know a few guys who have similar posters or merchandise.

Lee, that poster is insane!

Whilst not Star Wars, it is it's closest cousin!

My BSG British quad, taken me years to get this many signatures as some rarely make it over the pond.

Couple of signers have since passed away sadly, including Lance Le Gault, whow played 2 characters in the series (as well as Col. Decker in The A Team!) and one of my heroes, Glen A Larson. They say you should never meet your heroes, and they're right! :lol: But that's another story!

Couple more projects, although I've pretty much stopped on the BSG stuff, still looking (in vain) for original 'V' stars:
