What a a strange concept. I suppose it appeals to some people though, I'd rather have a go at taking my own shots to be honest.
Plus his Photoshop work on some of the renderings makes me eyes hurt

I read a thread somewhere from the bloke who helped this guy set up his website - for those that don't know or can't guess, these are the original shots from the box art etc

Yeah just wanted to post similar. Kim was the photographer who took the original shots for a lot of the Vintage Kenner box artwork, cardback shots etc. Stuff like this:

So while you may not quite like his photoshop skills this guy had a huge role to play in Vintage Star Wars. Much respect as a result!

Oh and yes it was Thorsten that help him set up the site the thread is here: http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5918

The about page is most definitely worth a read. The owner of the site did a lot of the Kenner photography for the boxes/toy fair catalogs that we've gotten used to seeing. I've meant to order something to see how the process is, but haven't gotten around to it.

A few years back I ordered 3 prints from Kim. I asked for bigger than usual prints. 24" by 20" so i could have them all professionally framed. They looked amazing wen they arrived. They came rolled up safely in a postage tube. I'd highly recommend these to anyone.

That's good to know as I'm looking at ordering a big print of the 93 back to get framed. Can't figure out yet whether to order it in luster or metallic.

Saw The Beastie Boys at Reading Festival in 1992 and they were most excellent. Probably pick of the day for me, respect to them.
