How many people out there have a complete run off palitoy 12 backs. I have no long started collecting them up to 4 so far darthvader,jawa,r2-d2,c3-po.

Yep, I have a set of the first 12 but not a palitoy 12 back large head han.....although I do know there are a couple of spare ones floating around! Need to save up first for that one. I know Gary and Jason both have a set and someone I think called "black falcon" on one of the other star wars forums?? There is also a guy Joe in NY that has 11 of the 12, missing a palitoy jawa. Thats all I know off but I'm sure there are others.

I've heard of maybe 6 complete sets out there. Mostly in the UK with a couple in the USA with rebelscum members.

I got the 7 most common ones in a trade 2 years back and then the 5 rarer ones in another trade from a set of 12 that were for sale just after CE last year. The chewbacca will be really tough and the luke won't be that easy either. Good luck with completing your run!

Ron,

Do you have an email I can contact you on? I might be able to get my hands on a stormtrooper and a sandpeople if you are interested.

Yep I have a complete set of the first 20, inc the Large Head Han.

I am pretty sure there are a lot more than 6 comp[lete sets out there.

When I did mine, I also knew of another 6 complete sets, and that was about 5 years ago, just in the UK amongst collectors I knew well.

How long did it take you to collect your 20 back Darth

Not too long as I got pretty lucky. A collector was selling up and I went to see him about a couple of 12 backs and ended up with some of the 20's as well. I picked up two more at CE and on ebay :D

There seems to be less 20 Back sets than 12's probably due to the difficulty in getting a Power Droid and also Greedo / DSD.

It's like all cards, some are rarer than others, depending on how many were made and how popular the figures were. The Power Droid is a big old bubble too so less of them are likely to have survived.
