X-Wing prototype, or isa it?

I was intrigued so I sent the seller a message to see if he actually believed his own guff.

Got this response

May have some similarities, here is some info you might not have.

Mine has a poor r2d2 paint job, and was released in the u.s in Cinc, Oh not a European release. Xwings have the most variants out of Star Wars ships made, this is another non released example...

I just pointed out this was a Palitoy ESB/ROTJ version.

TIG don't seem to appreciate that the grey version is ESB too, and I never realised that all my boxed vehicles were only released in Cincinnati

How many vehicles don't have that COO

My guess is he got scammed and is trying to get his money back

****, sorry Liam, you took me a bit to seriously there - I was only messing with you

Although I am sure that the general consensus is that Bollux is a Twat

That was proven years ago after him and Auggie became best firends thru PM. "I am only sharing my treasures with Bollux!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Somehow the words 'Bollux' and 'Twat' seem to fit together

This is not an endorsement of Bollux being a twat however.

Even if itfciain is right!

"#10. UK. Palitoy. 3rd issue. ESB. 'Battle Damaged' X-Wing Fighter. 1980.

Box details: Another Palitoy ESB version is issued, this time the box front changes to the Dagobah 2 photo and the large Palitoy logo changes to a smaller version. A title change sees 'Battle Damaged' added.

*Note* The box front shows a grey variant vehicle that is non-electronic (see the absence of nose light and electronic button compared to the Kenner grey versions). This is the same variant as the Euro Bilogo version (see later entry). It seems likely that this box was packed with both the grey and white non-electronic X-Wings. Mine came with the white non-electronic version.

Toy details: Same as previous Palitoy issues but with 'Battle Damaged' decal sheet included. May have been either white or grey non-electronic."

#19. European Bilogo. 2nd issue. ROTJ. X-Wing Fighter Vehicle. 1983.

Box details: The box design remains exactly the same with the recognised French/English bilingual logo on both sides of the box fronts, but with the exception that the vehicle now shown is the non-electronic grey Palitoy version. Note the absence of the rear blue electronic button and red nose light.
Toy details: Grey non-electronic, tinted canopy, black exhaust ports. Battle Damaged decals sheet.
*note* this unusual X-Wing is the grey non-electronic version with the 'dummy' battery compartment that contains no internal wiring and no red nose light. It comes with a 'dummy' blue electronic button that is not shown on the box. Note also the four black engine ports and the tinted cockpit canopy. This package has also shown up containing the white non-electronic palitoy fighter.
