Does anyone know how to remove black marker pen from a white X-Wing? tI was my first one many moons ago and has had these marks on it since 1979. I have tried bleach but it's only done half a job. Any ideas guys?

Almost next to impossible with permanent black marker.

You need to get your hands on some industrial graffiti remover :wink: I used to work at bus depot and got a bottle off one of the cleaners.....It removes even the oldest perminant maker with damaging the plastic. Though it does smell abit for a while.

As for where you will get some.......? Maybe visit your local bus depot and offer one of the cleaners a few quid for some :wink:

I'd like to see someone try this stuff, I always thought black permanent marker would leave the purple stain behind, embedded within the plastic itself :?:

I agree it's a chemical reaction...........Not like spray paint on a concrete wall.

Thanks for the ideas guys. The other problem I have is were the glue has been used it has yellowed and no amount of bleach will get it off. The plan was to get it brilliant white, but I don't think this will happen now

The last thing I spray painted something was my Neo Geo MVS 6 slot, it didn't go so well. Anyone know someone who could do a good job painting it white?
