This had been lying for years along with all my other stuff, unloved and forgotten. It's wings had broken and the cockpit was cracked. The decals had faded and lost their will to live. I grabbed a second hand one, along with a couple of spare guns, from Ebay and today got some vinyl adhesive, printed out the decals and have just finished bringing it back to life :D The wings are fixed, the cockpit is in one piece (even if very yellowed) but i'm a happy guy again. The original decals are still safely tidied away. I know the purists will scoff at the repro decals but i like it :D

Yeah, I rediscovered my love of Star Wars toys by reconditioning my childhood collection too. Great work. Go on eBay and get a nice clear canopy though I would. :)

Yeah i should really but there are so many that look suspiciously clear. I don't mind using repro stickers when i still have the originals stored away but i don't want to be putting fake/non-genuine stuff on them. Next up is my At-At. All i need now for that is a chin gun and chin gun bracket but i'm still waiting to hear from a couple of folk about whether or not they have a bracket they can sell me.

Good work, Tony- looks the business. But I've got to agree with June, I like the yellowed canopy- it's authentic and a part of your original childhood vehicle 8)
